Glenn and Daryl Douglas chalked up further multiple successes at Echuca on Wednesday, with the ex-Kiwi Our Jaccka Ross taking the Drovers Saddlery Pace for C0 class over 2160 metres and Ohbeoperative the Roy Wills Memorial Pace for C5 & C6 class over the same distance.

Our Jaccka Ross a 6-Y-0 Live Or Die/Rosewood Bret gelding having his first start since November last year and first on Australian soil, led throughout from outside the front row to score from Snappy Tactics and Sports City in a 2-04.1 rate, while Ohbeoperative a 4-Y-0 Armbro Operative/Ohbetoo gelding starting from the inside of the second row, enjoyed a sweet trip on the back of the pacemaker Telford Eldeejay after the well supported Vintage Direct vacated that spot to move into the running line.

Gaining a freak inside passage approaching the home turn, Ohbeoperative maintained the advantage in the run to the wire to defeat Telford Eldeejay which wouldn't give in without a fight, with Will Albert Run using the sprint lane from three back along the markers for third.

The mile rate being 2-00.7.

Daryl Douglas finished the night with a treble, after guiding the Vince Vallelonga (Riddell) trained 4-Y-0 mare Rainbow Jaccka to victory in the Dempsey Glavin Pace for C1 class over 2160 metres.

Starting from the extreme draw, Rainbow Jaccka (Live Or Die/Rainbow Taurus) settled last, before letting rip with a brilliant burst of speed to park outside the leader Bad Boy Hippo for the final circuit.

Applying plenty of pressure to the pacemaker approaching the home turn, Rainbow Jaccka appeared to be struggling on straightening, when Bad Boy Hippo jumped out of his gear halfway up the running, allowing Rainbow Jaccka to stride clear and score in advance of The Wooly Wriggler and Bad Boy Hippo in 2-01.1.
