The annual Morrisville State College (NY) Equine Institute Fall Yearling Sale took place Sunday with 125 yearlings (mostly NYSS eligibles) selling.
The average price was a respectable $10,246. Top consignor and sires, with more than one selling) are listed below. Sale topper was hip 49, the Lucky Chucky-Classical Princess-Malabar man colt Lucky Pablo that brought $59,000. The colt was consigned by Crawford Farms LLC of Syracuse and acquired by Jim Gianncazzi of Fayetteville, NY. Second dam of this colt produced the $2 million international winner Crowning Classic (1:55f by Crowning Point).
