Fresh off her sweep of this year’s SBOA Stakes, Muscle Babe returned to Mohawk Racetrack and dominated the three-year-old filly trotters she faced in Monday’s OSS Gold Series division.

With James MacDonald at the lines, Muscle Babe watched Riveting Rosie park Tosca through first-half fractions of :26.4 and :55.3 before serving up a three-wide challenge of her own. Riveting Rosie held on to a narrow lead at the three-quarter pole in 1:24.2, but Muscle Babe used a :29.1 final frame to draw clear by 5-1/4 lengths over Miss Liv in 1:53.3. Riveting Rosie settled for third.

Dave Menary trains the homebred for owner/breeder Kjell Magne Andersen of Oslo, Norway. The five-time winner lifted her lifetime earnings to $190,063 with the win.
