Robin Bakker teamed Italy’s Spada Nera (3f Muscle Hill-Zelda Per-Crowning Point) to victory in tonight’s featured €85,000 Prix Kurse at Paris-Vincennes.

Sixteen European starters contested the 2100 meter autostart event. Timed in 1.14.4kr, the daughter of Muscle Hill is trained by Paul Hagoort for Germany’s well-respected breeder/owner Alwin Schockemohle.

Off at 9.3/1, the winner defeated 17/1 Biguglia (3f Coktail Jet-Le Faisanderie) with Franck Ouvrie up for trainer/owner Frederic Platt with 79/1 outsider Black Charm (3m Prodigious-Podana) reined by Etienne Dubois for Ecurie Victoria Dream and trainer Philippe Moulin.

The undercard also produced interesting results starting with the opener for two year-olds.

The Prix Phaedrafor €46,000 went to Caid Griff (2m Password-Savane Griff) over seven rivals. Eric Raffin teamed the chestnut winner for Sebastian Guarato, trainer for Ecurie Griff.

The 7/10 favorite covered the 2200 meter course in 1.18.09kr to narrowly defeat Canari Match (2m Extreme Aunou-Ruelle d’Ostal) for Franck Ouvrie and trainer Frederic Pratt, off at 6/1. Captain d’Ourville (2m Korean-Solvalla) was third for Mathieu Abrivard at 23/1.
