An added attraction on Shepparton Gold Cup night (Saturday January 18,  was the $20,00 (Group 3) George Gath for Trotters TM0 or better class over 2190 metres and Avenel horseman David Aiken snared the quinella with internationally bred pair My High Expectations and Cold Sister in a mile rate of 1-59.7.

Leading out from gate three, Cold Sister (Nathan Jack) was immediately restrained to allow My High Expectations with David driving from gate six to stroll across to the front and that was the end of the penny section.

Cruising throughout, My High Expectations a prohibitive $1.30 favourite, coasted to the wire six metres in advance of Cold Sister which easily held second, with Kyvalley Blur also American bred third after being one/one on the back of Stoned I Am for the final circuit.

A seven year old rig by Ken Warkentin from Kovel, My High Expectations recorded his 25th victory in 73 outings and will be one of the major chances in the upcoming big trotting events over the next few weeks.
