Two additional harness racing nominations have been received for this year’s New Zealand Trotting Cup at Addington on November 8.
Addington Raceway bosses elected to leave the nominations open for an extra week for the Cup, the Dominion Handicap and their Show Day Futurity Series after they officially closed last week.
Harness Jewels placed mare Expressive Victor, has been added to the list for Paul Court – joining stablemate Brilliant Strike.
The other runner is now Australian pacer, Itz Bettor To Win.
The gelding who was trained by Mark Purdon and Natalie Rasmussen for the first part of his career and won a Kindergarten Stakes as a two-year-old is owned by Merv and Meg Butterworth.
The popular Australian couple were the successful owners of last year's Cup winner, Arden Rooney and will be shooting for back-to-back victories this year.
In the Dominion Handicap, Australian trotter Glenferrie Tycoon has joined the fray for Andy Gath.
Glenferrie Tycoon joins; Kyvalley Blur, Sun Of Anarchy, Overanova, Keystone Del, Vincennes and My Tribeca as the Australian nominations.
