"We are excited to offer this opportunity to introduce and educate potential new owners on the ins-and-outs of owning a Standardbred racehorse in a qualified environment with experienced Standardbred professionals," said M. Kelly Young, executive director, Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund. "Owning a horse can be fun and rewarding, but it is a big step and no one should go in blind. We want to serve as a resource for first-time Standardbred owners and make the process of getting involved in this industry as easy as possible."
