Kadabra, Harness Racing

New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program is pleased to announce that a breeding to the leading Canadian trotting sire Kadabra has been donated to support its efforts to rehabilitate, retrain and rehome Standardbreds retiring from the track.

Mrs. Isabelle Vartanian donated the breeding in memory of her husband Norman that passed away in September.

Norman was avidly involved in the harness racing industry for many years.

The breeding will be offered at in an open-ended auction via from 8:00 a.m. Tues. Feb.27 through 12:00 noon Wed. Feb. 28.

The purchaser owes a refundable 10% deposit with the balance due to New Vocations with a live foal.

Interested parties are encouraged to bid only for a mare that is a good breeding candidate and is not already booked.

New Vocations reserves the right to void the purchase if the mare is over 18, has been barren two consecutive years or is due after May 5.
