SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Agriculture & New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund has published its list of eligible stallions for the 2020 harness racing breeding season. The list includes 39 registered standardbred stallions, of which seven are new this year.
The full Stallion Directory, featuring pedigrees, career statistics and earnings of the eligible stallions, will be available online in the coming days. Hard copies of the Stallion Directory will be mailed to owners of mares and available through the Fund upon request.
The new stallions in 2020 are:

Made By Design
Major Moe
Pride Master
Semalu Express
Stella's Phella
Eligible stallions are those stallions have met the ownership or leasing requirements of the Fund and were registered by the Jan. 1 deadline.

The racing schedule and updated conditions for the upcoming New York Sire Stakes racing season are available at www.nysirestakes.com. The NYSS "Day of Champions" will be held Saturday, Sept. 12 at Yonkers Raceway.

The Agriculture & NYS Horse Breeding Development Fund is a public benefit corporation established in 1965 by the Laverne Law (Laws of New York, Chapter 567 of the Laws of 1965). The mission of the fund is to promote agriculture through the breeding of Standardbred horses and the conduct of equine research within the state. To carry out its legislative mission, the Fund administers the New York Sire Stakes races, Excelsior/State Fair Series races, and County Fair Races.
