FINDLAY, OHIO — The Hancock County Fair Board and area horsemen, in partnership with Susan G. Komen Northwest Ohio, are racing for the cure this Thursday (September 3) at the Hancock County Fairgrounds in Findlay, Ohio. The “Race for the Cure” event will be the final event of a 10-race program and will be contested between four female drivers in the Ohio Ladies Pace.
In addition to the monies raised in the “Race for the Cure” and the generous contributions of local business sponsors, the Komen Foundation will also be selling t-shirts and accepting donations from the public.
Supporters can donate or purchase t-shirts even if they are not able to attend. T-shirts are $10.00 each and donations can be mailed to the Hancock County Agricultural Society, 1017 East Sandusky Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840. “Komen” must be written on the memo line of your check or money order.
