Lorrie Please, Alexacase and Cruzin Foralivin N drop down from the Open ranks to head the Tuesday (Nov. 29) harness racing feature $16,500 Mares Winners-Over pace at Dover Downs.
Matt Kakaley drives Lorrie Please, owned by Allen and Ira Kaplan and Dave Sheib’s Lorrie Please, Allan Davis pilots Kimberley and trainer Johnny Waite’s Alexachase and Joe Muscara’s Cruzin Foralivin N and driver Jim Morand have been racing well in recent starts match strides in a field of nine distaffs in the feature race.
Kim Gadino’s Docdor Libby (Ross Wolfenden) drew post 1 with Fleeting Flirt N, reined by Jon Roberts driving for Barry Mandell, Adam Ainspan and trainer Bib Roberts, starts from alongside. Kimmy and Corey Callahan won two starts back for owners Jeff Franklin and Parent Racing Stable.
The other contenders are Jeff Rose and Hankook Stable’s Dagnabit Hanover with Allan Davis; Harry von Knoblaugh’s Eastwood Aurora N handled by Brad Hanners; and Melissa Cabot’s Touch The Clouds and driver Daryl Bier.
