Felicia Hall holds off rivals on both sides in winning Friday.

Felicia Hall captured the $6,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace on Friday (August 16) in Northfield Park’s tenth race.  She is trained by Nichole Gagnon, who owns the pacer with Cathy Watson, Richard Smith and Jerry Weininger.  Ryan Stahl drove the six year-old pacer.

Felicia Hall (Pro Bono Best-Formica-Life Sign) started from post four.  She left alertly off of the gate and led her rivals from start to finish, posting fractions of :27.2, :56.3, 1:25.3 and 1:54.1.  Felicia Hall withstood pressure throughout much of the mile and dug in late to best her competition by a head.  Completing the race were Sissy Bar, Moonlite Delite, Umygeorgia Hanover, Classieriverboat N, Fly To The Angels, Hugs Again and Getherdone Sue.  Ideal Treasure was scratched.

Friday’s win was the eighth victory in 2013 for Felicia Hall, who now has 13 career successes and earnings of $76,275.  She was the race favorite and returned $4.00 to win.
