The excellent card also includes the Lars Lindbergs for 250,000SEK first prize, led by Windy Ways and Monas Invercote, both facing 20 meter handicaps (the standard distance is 2140 meters); and the Svenskt Masters for coldbloods also for 250,000SEK first money over 2640 meters autostart.
It was also reported that D’One will return to the US to compete at Lexington’s Red Mile in the Allerage, a race she won last year. She will undergo a vet exam and then head for the US so says trainer Roger Walmann.
Last year won D ' One four of five starts in North America and in 2106 she posted three wins in Sweden albeit she was unplaced in the recent European Championship for Mares. Walmann believes she is best suited for the mile distance and the Red Mile was kind to her, dam Giant Diablo and sire Donato Hanover, both of which set world records in 2007. In North America she might face enhanced competition from the Swan For All daughter Hannelore Hanover and Shake It Cerry.
