Today’s highlight race in Italy went to the excellent mare Orsia (6f Angus Hall-TigreOM-Zebu) with Roberto Vecchione aboard.
The Gran Premio Riccardo Grassi at Cesena carried a purse of €45,100 in the 1660 meters autostart contest.
The winner, timed in 1.12.4kr, was bred by Scuderia Sant’Andrea SEL and is trained by Alessandro Gocciadoro. She is a 16 time winner of €431,075. Louvre (9m Piccardo=Defile-Ganymede) was second for Federico Esposito followed by race favorite Owen CR (6m Cantab Hall-Boemia CR-Lemon Dra).
