The mile rate of 2.00.1 was a new track record for the 2530 meter event. Our Flyin Jazz covered the distant in 3.08.8 running his last half mile in 58.9.
For driver David Harding the Cup was the middle leg of a treble. Harding also won on Armbro Speedstar and the last race aboard Mattichiello.
Danielle Hill drove a double on The Denman and classy 2 year old filly Whats Emma Got, who will now be set for the BOTRA Nursery Pace.
