The Yirribee Pacing Stud bred and raised Our Millionaire is proving one of the harness racing success stories in Victoria this season.
The four-year-old son of Million Dollar Cam stretched his winning sequence to five with a dominant win in a Metropolitan Pace heat at Melton on Saturday night (December 28).
After looping the field in the middle stages, the bay entire reeled off a 56.1 seconds last 800 to win decisively. The mile rate for the 2240 metres was 1:55.6.
Our Millionaire has won six of his seven outings this season and nine out of 18 lifetime for $50,250 in stakes.
Seddon Dollar, a six-year-old gelding by Million Dollar Cam won his fourth race at Maitland.
Scheu Creek, a four-year-old gelding and one of the first crop of Caribbean Blaster, hoisted a fresh lifetime mark of 1:56.7 winning the Marburg To Albion Final at Albion Park.
While American Colt NZ, a three-year-old Tintin In America gelding, led most of the way to notch his third win at Gloucester Park.
Million Dollar Cam, Caribbean Blaster and Tintin In America are part of the Yirribee Pacing Stud sire roster which also includes Lazarus, Lennytheshark, Warrawee Needy and Fear The Dragon.
