The South Australian Racing Appeals Tribunal today heard an appeal filed by Mr Donald Moore with respect to a decision of the Stewards to disqualify him for a period of five years following a conviction under Rule 218 of the Rules of Harness Racing.
The particulars of the case being that Mr Moore failed to properly care for the horse ‘MAX’ when it was domiciled at his stables at the Whyalla race track.
Mr Moore also appealed the severity of the penalty imposed.
The outcome was that the Tribunal dismissed the appeal against conviction and reserved its decision with respect to penalty.
