November 2, 2016 – Unero-Montaval (8g Nem-Heroine du Loir) took today’s harness racing Q+ Prix de Soulac at Vincennes (purse €70,000, 2700 meters, 18 starters) timed in 1.13.5kr for Vincent Sequin at 298/1. 14/1 Univers de Marzy (8g Look de Star-Lovelie de Marzy) was second for J.Ph. Monclin, ahead of 32/1 Upman (8g Kepler-Niyat) with Antoine Lamy up.
The outsiders on top caused the exact order Q+ to have no winning tickets and the “disorder” top five ticket paid over €5,500.
On the program was also the Gr. III Prix des Cevennes (purse €110,000, 2700 meters, 13 starters) and timed in 1.12.4kr the winner was the 3/5 favorite, and racing barefoot, Aubrion du Gers (6g Memphis du Rib-J’Arrive du Gers) for owner/trainer/driver Jean-Michel Bazire. 5.5/1 Anna Mix (6f Ludo de Castelle-Ires) rallied on the far outside for second with Franck Nivard up for owner/trainer Franck Leblanc. 14/1 Altesse du Mirel (6f Ready Cash-Ina de Mirel) was third for driver/trainer Pierre Vercruysse and owner Mme. Florence Allera. Anette Holmgren bred this mare. The beaten field included Dante Boko (6g Going Kronos), Duke of Greenwood (6m Otello Pieji) and Ustinof du Vivier (8g Look de Star).
The Prix de Dorat (purse €85,000, 2700 meters, 14 starters) went to 1.12.7kr timed and 35/1 Avenir du Blay (6g Hooper-Mirabelle de Blay) with owner/trainer Tony LeBeller on the lines. 59/1 Arthuro Boy (6g LeRetour-Guyane) took the second spot for Yves Dreux, also breeder/owner/trainer. 1.5/1 favorite Action Partage (6f Opium-Lou Mana Flor) was home third for driver Pierre Levesque, trainer Thomas Levesque and owner Daniele Gozlan.
