Pen Handicapper Pandy scratched out a vtory in Leg 24 of HANA Harness' The Pen vs. The Chip Handicapping Challenge sponsored by The Hambletonian Society, Meadowlands, Tioga Downs, and Vernon Downs which was contested Friday evening (July 27) at the Meadowlands by a mere $0.20 over Mark McKelvie ($29.60 vs. $29.40) with a WIN ROI of 1.233.
McKelvie lost out the photo with his ROI of 1.225. Others that finished at or above the waterline were Bobby Z (1.092) and Earl the Pearl (1.000). With regards to the side competition regarding Exactas, Earl the Pearl scored a ROI of 1.979, defeating Bobby Z (1.623), grossing $95.00.
Although finishing second for the evening, McKelvie was able to re-take the lead in the overall contest with a ROI of 1.010 with Trackmaster's Chatsworth Consortium dropping back to second with a ROI of 0.977. Picking up the show spot is Pandy (0.881).
