Second finishing 5/1 Underpaid Hanover (9m Revenue-Up Front Lisa-Lindy Lane) and trainer/driver Imre Fazekas raced in the second tier and took the lead mid-stretch before the final rush by the winner. 2.7/1 Victory Knick (6g Cantab Hall-Lapponia Knick-Lindy’s Crown) ended third for trainer/driver Emil Csordas. This one has recorded four wins and a second in his last five HU starts.
On the superb undercard the Platter Chatter DIJ (purse 600,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart) went to 1.16.8kr timed and 3/2 odds Timoteo (6m Abano As-Ghirlanda Aas-Diamond Way) teamed by trainer Vlejko Mazsity. 3.4/1 Vortice Bi (4m Toss Out-Rhode Island Bi) with Sandor Varga up and 13.7/1 Oldtimer Diamant (8g Arc de Triomphe-Primadonna Lady-Titan Way) were home second and third.
The Ipse Handicap (purse 400,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart) started off the day’s racing and the 1.17kr timed win went to 4.6/1 Rocky HR (6m Roc de Montfort-Times-SJs Photo) for trainer/driver Balszs Juhacz, his second straight score. 5.9/1 Rosamundi (10f Chipmate-Kama Sutra-Lindy’s Crown) was second for Jozef Karai and trainer Csaba Lakatos. Third was 3.7/1 Rocket Boy (5m Even Better Odds-Keystone Bluejay-Sierra Kosmos) handled by Andrea Nagyvary for trainer Imre Fazekas.
