Harness racing trainer Paul Kelley recorded a double on Friday night at Saratoga, winning the trotting feature with Quick Deal (Revenue S) and prevailing with red hot young trotter Pilatus (Andover Hall).

Quick Deal made the early lead in the evening's $14,980 open two and would never relinquish the lead.

Driven by Wally Hennessey, Quick Deal scored in 1:56.1, prevailing for the fourth time of the season.

Kelley's Pilatus moved his win streak to five behind a career best romp first over in 1:57.3 with leading driver Billy Dobson at the controls.

Quick Deal and Pilatus are both co-owned by Rossie Smith who had three winners on the evening as his Alpine Dauntless (Jordan Derue) scored an upset win in a claiming trot earlier in the card.

Live racing continues on Saturday night at the Spa with a first post of 7:05pm.
