Scarborough, Maine (July 11, 2015) – Millionaire trotter, Pembroke Prayer doggedly tracked down an accomplished field to claim top harness racing honors in the $6000 Free For All trotting event at Scarborough Downs on Saturday (7/11), getting up in the final strides for the 1:59 clocking.
With Heath Campbell in his customary driver's seat, the classy son of Like A Prayer – Super Earl scored the 65th win of his storied career to the delight of owner/breeder William Varney of Bangor, Maine.
The win was the fourth of the season for the 11-year-old wunderkind who continues to show no mercy to his younger competitors. .
Like a fine wine, Pembroke Prayer continues to excel with age.
