The season’s first major harness racing trotting event at Kincsem Park was Saturday’s Geza Sennyey Memorial (purse 1,500,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart, 11 starters) that saw 8.5/1 Pierra del Bar (10f Abano As-Exile Bar-Muscles Yankee) make a three wide move in the final bend and draw off for a 1.15.7kr timed victory with Imre Fazekas aboard.
Zoltan Ozvar trains and owns the classy mare that defeated Part Two (10f Offshore Dream-Bel Ditto-Wired Pine) with Attila Budai the reinsman. Rocky HR (7m Roc de Montfort-Times-SJs Photo) was third for pilot Balazs Juhasz. Milady Amok and Tennessee Effe completed the top five. Race time was just shy of the 1.15.6kr record of 2011 set by Imike.Pierra del Bar

The undercard featured the Globus DIJ (purse 600,000, 1800 meters autostart), named for the 2009 winner of the Geza Sennyey Memorial, with 9.7/1 Salihamidzic (8m Wall Street Banker-Heliken-Awesome Goal) the winner timed in 1.17kr for trainer/driver Lajos Marton.
The 4.5/1 Under World (6g Racino-Aba-Yankee Class) was second for Joze Sagaj, the pilot for trainer Emil Csordas, and third was 18.9/1 Ugyeska (6f Ata Star L) with Sandor Varga aboard.
