A feature of the catalogue for the upcoming Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale is the high percentage of winning and winner-producing dams represented in the sale.
Part of the Bathurst Crown festivities, the sale is scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at the Bathurst Showground.
More than 50 per cent of the 208 lots catalogued are from race-winning dams, while 50 per cent are from winner-producers.
The catalogue includes yearlings from Group winners including Miss Trickin Lombo (Silver Chalice), Miss Nobilo (Pink Bonnet), My Cherie (Victoria Oaks, Vicbred Final and El Dorado), Aldebaran (QBred Triad) and the $400,000 USA winner, Hanover Chance.
Other Group heat or metropolitan winners include Kyallarama, Tully Belle, Howard’s Dilemma, Missdemanding, Wicked Weapon, Shes Ezy, Conrod Bent, The Magic Of Life, Art Of Perfection, Golden Bow, Totally Radical, Set To Shine and Nickalongtheground.
The 208 dams have left nearly 270 winners between them, including the Cordina Sprint winner Franco Jamar, dual Derby winner Lively Exit, NSW Sires Stakes 2YO champions Usane Flash and Muddy River, Four Trumps, which won the Simpson Memorial) Linden Huntley Memorial winners Dee Devito and Mighty River, QBred Triad winners Tipsy Tollgater and Hezarealgem, Holly’s Miss Molly (SA Mermaid) and Radical Calza (The Lombo).
There are yearlings from half-sisters to a swag of Grand Circuit and Group One performers such as Beautide, Suave Stuey Lombo, Sting Lika Bee, Emmas Only, Blossom Lady, Just An Excuse, Robin Hood, Full Pleasure, Kathryn Dancer, Defoe, Dance Of Life, Garnet River, Cuttheattitude, Ima Spicey Lombo and many more.
