Orjan Kihlstrom piloted Policy Of Truth (3g Explosive Matter-Champagne-Supergill) to victory in today’s Gr. II E3 Final for colts at Eskilstuna, Sweden over the 2140 meter autostart course for 1SEK million ($118,549 US) to the winner.

The Reijo Liljendahl trainee scored in 1.13.6kr for his fifth victory in six 2016, also his lifetime achievement. Off at 4.3/1 the winner bested 14/1 M.T. Le Baron (3g Quite Easy-Rydeus Denise-Dahir de Prelong) with Bjorn Goop aboard and even-money favorite Makethemark (3m Maharajah-Global Naughty-Conway Hall) was third for driver Ulf Ohlsson and trainer Salmela Petri.

This one was six for six in ’16 and 12 for 14 lifetime entering this contest.

The other major event on the program was the Gr. I International E3 Final for fillies over 2140 meters autostart for 1SEK million first money, and that winner was 23/1 Uncertain Age (3f Jacose-Missis-Varenne) for Christoffer Eriksson and trainer Tomas Malmqvist, timed in 1.13.5kr.

The Eskilstuna undercard also included the 250,000SEK first money Stayerlopp over 3140 meters distance handicap. The 3.9/1 Amaru Boko (9m Coktail Jet-Sue Boko-Yankee Glide) scored timed in 1.13.5kr for trainer/driver Robert Bergh. Amaru Boko traveled a handicapped 3200 meters to record his third straight win.

In the Klass II test for 200,000SEK first money o ver 2140 meters autostart, 1.4/1 Ceasar Sisu (4g Cantab Hall=Chynatown-Muscles Yankee) recorded his second straight win timed in 1.12.6kr for driver Bjorn Goop and trainer Timo Nurmos.

Other winners on the program were Slide So Easy (7g Quite Easy-Elegate Frokjar-Smokin Yankee) for Flemming Jensen in the 200,000SEK Bronze Final, timed in 1.12.3kr over 2140 meters autostart; 10/1 Othello Face (5g Kiss Francis-Lady Katherine-American Winner) for Jurgen Sjunnesson in the 200,000SEK Klass I Final timed in 1.14.1kr over 2140 meters autostart; 3.3/1 Ready For More (6g Ready Cash-B;Glorious-Smok’n Lantern) in 1.12.8kr for Ulf Ohlsson in the 220,000SEK Silver Final (he is now 12 for 21 lifetime); and 3.7/1 Serious Try (5g Crazed-Miss Volo-Yankee Glide) timed in 1.13.2kr for Henrik Svensson in a 2140 meter autostart contest.
