Orjan Kihlstrom directed Poochai to victory in today's Krafft Swedish Derby at Jagersro, a Gr. I National event with 2,000,000SEK to the winner.

The four-year-old son of Make It Happen-In Viro Veritas-Express Ride scored in 1.12.3kr over 2640 meters autostart for his ninth win in 25 starts, now for earnings of 4,246,800SEK.

Svante Bath trains the winner and Roxy Horses AB is the owner. Ivar Sanna (by Super Arnie) was second for Thomas Uhrberg in the close photo for win. Vasterbo Fantast was third for Erik Adielsson, who drove this son of Mr. Pine Chip, also trained by Svante Bath.

The winner had previously won at the Gr. I level in the Konung Gustaf Aby V's Pokal in May. Driver Kihlstrom won this event in 2009 aboard Maharajah. Favorite Archangel AM was disqualified today for being offstride.

The Gr. I National Krafft Filly Derby, worth 1,000,000SEK to the winner, went to Neona Princess (4f Gigant Neo-Dew Princess-JR Broline).

The favorite winner was driven by trainer Peter Untersteiner as she scored in 1.13.1kr over the 2140 meter autostart course.

She recorded her 13th win in 23 outings, now for earnings of 3,367,30SEK for owner HB Ybena, also breeder. Favorite D'One (4f Donato Hanover-Giant Diablo-Supergill) was second for Orjan Kihlstrom with Darling Boko (4f Chocolatier-Favor Baby-Tagliabue) third for Ulf Ohlsson.
