Mark McKelvie shot to the lead in the Hana Shoot-Out

June 15, 2014 - Thanks to a $100 exacta box wager on the Meadowlands Maturity, 2012 Pen vs. Chip Handicapping Champion, Mark McKelvie, surged to the lead in HANA Harness' Grand Circuit Handicapping Shoot-Out Contest.

The $100 exacta box of Captaintreacherous and Odds On Equuleus gave McKelvie a $1,200 profit for Friday evening on the way to a net profit of $1,065 for the weekend. As a result, McKelvie through 13 legs has a net profit of $1,518, leading former leader Brandon Valvo by $214.50.
