The Franklin Trotting Club's annual yearling parade was held last week at the club's Station Road harness racing track in Pukekohe following its workouts. The one-day event was organised by Paulette Screen and judged by Irvin Behrns, Linda Hamilton and Alec McDonald.

Results were:

Trotters:

First: $500 food prize (donated by NRM): Bad Habbott (Sundon - Hanover The Gold) trained by Bruce Lloyd.

Second: Sir George Gray (Monkey Bones - Georgina) trained Derek Balle & Owen Gilles.

Pacers colts and geldings:

First: $500 Vetro prize and rug (donated by Vetro): Eye Catcher Fire (Courage Under Fire - Broken Promises) colt trained by Dave Shorter.

Second: Smiling Nick (Grinfromeartoear - Shazza Lee gelding) trained by Jeff Crouth.

Pacers - fillies:

First: $500 vet voucher (from Pukekohe Veterinary): Cougar Bromac (Art Major - Congo Breeze) trained by Frank Phelan.

Second: Alma Beers (P Forty Seven - Erynies) Derek Balle & Owen Gillies.

Voucher Prizes (donated by Garrards):

German Connection (Gotta Go Cullen - Mayor Heather colt) trained by Henk Habraken (see photo).

Eyebrow (Live Or Die - Tact Philly gelding) trained by Paulette Screen.
