DOVER, Del.— Rockin Rambaran made the winner's circle for the first time in 2016 besting Rock N. Roll Jet in a 1:52.3 photo finish at the harness racing meeting at Dover Downs on Thursday, March 3.
With meet leading driver Corey Callahan at the controls for owner-trainer Arty Foster, Rockin Rambaran needed his ninth start of the year to produce his first victory, while on two occasions, he finished second. Rock N' Roll Jet (Jonathan Roberts) was second with All Gold (Ross Wolfenden) closing well to take third.
In the sub-feature Male pace, driver Allan Davis left his seven foes in Disarrei, when GRP\J Partners pacer Disarrei overtook front-pacing Cambassador (Tony Morgan) in the stretch for a 1:52.4 triumph.
Summer Camp (Jonathan Roberts) finished third.
Disarrei is a five-year-old by Cheyenne Rei-Unspeakable Joy, who won his second of the year.
