Rockin The House, recently acquired by Howard and Judy Taylor and Dandy Farms won the Thursday, Feb. 25 feature race in 1:51.4 at Dover Downs with meet leading harness racing driver Corey Callahan in the bike. Callahan finished the card with five winners.
In the stretch battle, Race Me Villa (Montrell Teague) was leading a charge to the finish line when the gelding broke stride nearing the wire. Callahan and Rockin The House inherited the front and the easy win for trainer Dylan Davis. Feel Like A Fool (Vic Kirby), finished third and was placed second with Allstar Preview (George Dennis) fourth placed third. Race Me Villa, who finished second, was disqualified due to his lapped-on break, and was placed fourth.
Previously, a successful Chicago campaigner, Rockin The House, a nine-year-old altered son of Rocknroll Hanover-Donkeys Can Win, chalked up his 38th career victory while earning $589,233 lifetime.
In addition to Callahan's five winners, giving the six-time track dash-win champion 137 for the meet. Vic Kirby and Jim Morand had two wins each.
