Race results give Bathurst sale a boost

The results of the recent Gold Crown Yearling Sale Graduate races has given the 2013 Bathurst Gold Crown Yearling Sale, to be held at the Bathurst Showground on Sunday, March 24 a tremendous boost.

The sale features a half-brother to Goodtime Stride, winner of the fillies’ classic, and a half-sister to the colts and geldings’ classic winner Lagoon Stride, both from the Golden Gait stud consignment.

Furthermore, the sale offers a half-brother to this year’s MIA Breeders Plate and Lombo placegetter Enjoythegoodtimes and a half-sister to another recent juvenile winner in Distant Memory.

The multiple Victorian cups winner Thats Mister Ali, Howard Ino (Simpson Sprint), Ballbarboy (NSW Christmas Gift), Radical Calza (The Lombo), Indicative (SA Sires Produce), Treuative, Howards Dilemma, Mad Mel and $100,000 winners Ethon Sun, Rigatoni, Greenmans Valley and Enjays Cam all have siblings in the catalogue.

The sale is littered with yearlings from Group, Listed and metropolitan winning race mares. They include the Queensland Oaks and Victoria Ladyship Cup winner In A Whisper, Lady Titian Lombo (Edgar Tatlow Mem.), As It Is In Heaven (Vic. Premiere Stakes), Ezy Lady (NSW SS semi), Lockton Loaded, Sunvale, Ambre Solaire, Karamea Athena, Kyallarama and Pegorama.

All yearlings nominated for the sale will be eligible for the Sales Graduate races with $14,000 finals for two-year-old colts and fillies at Bathurst in February/March 2014.

They are also eligible for the Breeders Crown, NSW Breeders Challenge, NSW Breeders Bonus, Bathurst Gold Crown and Tiara, Vicbred, QLD Bred and The Lombo.
