Harness racing action will return to Horsham this afternoon, Friday, February 7 with an eight-race program commencing at 1.17pm.
The powerful Emma Stewart stable is only occasional visitors to the Horsham Racing Centre but rarely miss out when they make the trip from their Cardigan base.
Smart 3yo filly Amelia Rose with Jackie Barker in the sulky, will start an odds-on-favourite in the Team Teal For Ovarian Cancer Pace (R7) even having drawn gate nine in a capacity field and over the sprint trip of 1700 metres.
Stewart's other runner is the beautifully bred 3yo colt Lizzadro (r8) in the Group 1 Gav – Donate At Gofundme Pace over the distance of 2200m.
Swedish national Sofia Arvidsson takes the drive on Lizzadro which drops markedly in class after a recent outing in a heat of the Victoria Derby.
