Red Shores Charlottetown witnessed some vintage harness racing Walter Cheverie driving in the evenings top races.
Cheverie showed his patients in the evening top class with his own trainee Nogreatmischief waiting until the head of the lane and circled the field for a 1:56.4 victory. Ok Galahad released stable made to lead past the half both the Hughes trainees couldn't hold off the late charge.
Cheverie is the owner of the top class winner.
Ramblinglily returned to her winning ways in the Race 7 Open Mares with another Cheverie worst to first move for regular pilot Cheverie to complete the driving double.
The Alan Jones trainee was saddled with the outside Post 6 and used a brush past the three quarters to overtake fraction setter and Spud Island Classic winner Shadows Mystery.
