Charlottetown, PE – Doing Some Damage came flying on the outside through the stretch to claim the harness racing Joe Fogarty Memorial Thursday at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. The time of the mile was 1:57.1
Driven by Brian MacPhee, Doing Some Damage was well positioned throughout the mile before overpowering the field in the lane. Likely To Win cut the fractions of 27.2, 57.2 and 1:26.4. DBS Rosco (Kenny Arsenault) was second with Likely To Win fading to third. The 8-4-5 triactor returned $259.00. The winning horse is owned by Kent Livingston, Cornwall, PE and trained by Trevor Hicken.
In other action, trotter Job Well Done, with Paul Morrison in the bike, won his first race of the season in only his second start of the campaign. High Flyer (Gordie Hennessey) took the second trot assignment on the card.
Marc Campbell notched a driving double on the program.
