Charlottetown, PE - Sterling Seelster, under the command of, won the Thursday feature event at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park over a rain soaked track. The time of the mile was 2:01.4 on a track rated sloppy with a six second variant.
Sterling Seelster is owned by David, Aaron and John MacKenzie of Stratford and Natasha Campbell, Winsloe. Toad River (Ken Murphy) recovered from an early break to finish a close second with fraction setter Private Joke (Michael McGuigan).
Saulsbrook Balance, with in the bike, won the trot class in 2:06.4. Murphy did the driving for Cindy MacDonald, Montague and Tanya Mackinnon of Souris. Who Took That (Michael McGuigan) was second with Abundaspin ( ) completing the triactor.

Bob Weeks from TSN Score Golf channel and his TV crew joined the broadcast team for a special night at the track. The crew was on PEI shooting pieces for an upcoming show on TSN.
Racing returns Saturday at 6pm with Red Shores Summerside Sunday at 1pm featuring the Island Pacing Championship Leg 1 presented by Meridian Farms.
