Budapest, Hungary – Csaba Lakatos teamed his trainee Rinette Streamline (8f Kashner Hanover-Keys Praise-Prakas) to a rallying narrow victory in the 1Huf million purse Szabadkai Dij over 2400 meters autostart.
The winner caught leading Reste Premier (10g Laetenter Diem-Certitude Bertins-Kabck) and driver Istvan Papp on the line. Grumetti (7g Varenne-Tabora-Pine Chip) and driver Bakzs Juhasz was placed third after Quick Viervil was disqualified. The winner was timed in 1.17.5kr.
On the undercard was the Petar Crnjakovic Memorial over 1900 meters autostart for a 600,000Huf purse. Serbia’s Nadir Three (8g Kick Tail-Uliva DTS-Pay Nibs) took this victory clocked in 1.17.1kr for Boris Kecenovic driving, his sixth consecutive victory (at various venues – Srbobran (2),
Despotoro, Adi and Zombor) and first at Kincsem Park. Nocsabasz (8m Tony Oaks-Zala Szepe-Rugged Lobell) was second for Veljko Mazsity ahead of favorite Sanger MS (5g Victory Scream-Samba MS-Armbro Goal) driven by trainer Imre Fazekas that rallied too late in this one.
Also at Kincsem Park was the Csantaveri Dij (purse 400,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart) that went to favored Serbian invader Wahler (5g Global Pride-Warena Buddie-Bradash Buddie) for trainer/driver Branislav Mukity, the fourth straight victory for Wahler. Rafael Bit (5g Prime Prospect-Becky Ami-Keyser Lobell) was second for Vereb Zsolt and trainer Goran Zolnaji. Padova (6f Toss Out-Venushia As-Crowning Point) ended third for trainer/driver Ferenc Nagy II. Time winner was timed in 1.17.1kr.
