Robert Bi (6m Toss Out-Up Front JM) teamed by Robin Bakker won today’s Prix de New York at Enghien (purse €115,000. 2150 meters, 12 European starters) clocked in 1.13.7kr. The Paul Hagoort trainee is owned by Holland’s K.K. Bijkerk and was the 1.6/1 favorite. 9.1/1 Africaine (6f Oiseau de Feux-Italiene) was second for Franck Ouvrie, driving for breeder/owner/trainer Jean-Etienne Dubois. Third was 7.1/1 Aladin d’Ecajeul (6m Quaker Jet-Nancy d’Ecajeul) with Eric Raffin up for trainer Sebastien Guarato and owner Philippe DeWulf. 110/1 Vincennes was fourth for David Thomain and fifth was 21/1 Sierra Leone for reinsman J.W. Hallais.

On the Enghien undercard the Q+ Prix Invalides (purse €52,000, 2875 meters, 18 European starters) produced a blanket finish with 14.1/1 Orient Horse (8m Abano As-Irma del Rio) prevailing for the 1.14.5kr win driven by Pierre Levesque. Thomas Levesque is the trainer for Mme. S. Bruni of Italy. 11/1 Geisha Sund (6f Love You-Kanada) was second for P-Y Verva, trainer Robert Bergh and Ecurie Etoile Sweden HB. Third went to the Franck Ouvrie teamed and 23/1 Vramdau (7m Quido du Goutier-Kiss Me Coulonces) that is trained by Arnold J. Mollema for breeder/owner Paul Van Klauveren.7/1 Pinguis Vang (9g SJ’s Photo-New Wonder) was fourth for Robin Bakker and trainer Fabrice Souloy with fifth to 16/1 Rue du Bac (6m Infinitif-ICI) with David Thomain up, this one also Souloy trained.
