TORONTO, April 11 - Rock N Roll Xample didn't disappoint the betting public on Friday evening at Woodbine as the heavily-favoured filly completed the Blossom Series sweep.

After capturing both preliminary legs, Rock N Roll Xample and Randy Waples scored an open-length victory to take the rich $36,000 final in 1:53.

Waples and the daughter of Rocknroll Hanover-R Xample sat in the two-hole for most of the mile as Violet Bayama (Sylvain Filion) controlled the pace through fractions of :26.3, :56 and 1:25.1.

As the field of six turned for home, Waples angled his charge off the pylons and the nine-time winner did the rest as she exploded past the tempo-setter en route to victory. Wildcat Magic (Chris Christoforou) came on to finish second over Violet Bayama.

Trained by Shawn Robinson for owner/breeder Robert Hamather, Rock N Roll Xample increased her bankroll to $84,090. She paid $2.40 to win.
