Driver Peter Ingves won the V75 International with Rocky Winner

Rocky Winner (5m Credit Winner-Level Fortytwo-Arnaquer) won today’s V75 Jagersro Gr. II International (UET Masters Series) in Sweden over 2140 meters autostart.

Handled by Peter Ingves, Rocky Winner raced alongside pacesetter Panne de Moteur (5m Credit Winner-Jalopy-Donerail) before inching past on the line for a 1.12.9kr victory.

Trained by Jorgen Westholm, the winner scored his 16th win in 37 lifetime starts, now good for earnings in excess of 2.09 million SEK. Purse to the race winner was 500,000SEK. The Stefan Hultman trainer runner-up, Panne de Moteur) raced gamely for Orjan Kihlstrom. He’s a winner of over 6.5 million SEK and from a Hambletonian Oaks winning dam. Perfectly Enough (5m Express It-Just About Enough-SJs Caviar) took third for Erik Adielsson.

The Jagersro opener today, a monte event for 75,000SEK to the winner, went to Rock Me (6g Rotation-Gittan Palema-Edge of Glory) with Josefine Ivehag up. The pair took this 1640 meter autostart 2013 Montepris contest in 1.13.8kr over Limerick (8g Master Thoj-What Bonange-Gunslinger Spur) with Malin Baras aboard. The Sofia Aronsson handled Organdi d’Or (11g Archilles-Hovillars d’Or-Vroun d’Or) landed third in a photo with Limerick.
