Following the recommendation of the Special Industry Committee, the Harness Racing SA has made two appointments, which will come into effect on October 1.
John Levy has been re-appointed to the board, with Roland Roccioletti joining the team as a Marketing expert.
An experienced and prominent legal practitioner, Levy has been a HRSA director since 2011.
Principal of JL Lawyers, Levy is also a board member of the West Adelaide Football Club and was chairman of Greyhound Racing SA between 2006 and 2008.
Roccioletti is the Managing Director of Future Proof Advisory and Strategic HR and brings a strong business sense to the role.
He is the chairman of Fox Creek Wines and a director with WEA South Australia and Young Adelaide Voices.
Roccioletti replaces Joanne Podoliak who has decided to retire from the board due to ongoing business commitments.
HRSA chairman, Mark Carey, congratulated Levy and Roccioletti on their appointments while thanking Podoliak for her valuable contribution.
Podoliak was a driving force through her involvement in industry event marketing, strategic planning and chairing the board’s Governance Committee.
Levy and Roccioletti will complete three-year terms in their roles.
