Bet Together (Bettor's Delight) pulled off an upset for the second consecutive Saturday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.
The Heidi Rohr-trained pacer drew post position seven in Saturday's $15,000 Winners Over pacing feature following victories in four of his previous six starts.
Bet Together sat patiently while well off the pace as the first half fractions sizzled to the tune of 26.4 and 55.0.
Dismissed at odds of 18-1, Bet Together came charging hard around the final turn and surged late in the stretch to record the upset win in 1:52.4.
Jim Devaux piloted the eight year old pacer to the feature score.
Spinarama (Austin Siegelman) finished second while Aussie Reactor A (Bruce Aldrich Jr) earned the show spot. Bet Together, who is owned by John Smiel of Rutland, VT, returned $39.80 to win and led an exacta that paid $234 and triple that came back $3,316.
Live racing continues on Sunday afternoon at Saratoga with a matinee beginning at 12:45pm.
