Savannah Bi (3f Ganymede-Dakota Bi-Toss Out) won today's Gran Premio Italia all-Arcoveggio at Bologna in 1.13.4kr over 1660 meters.

Handled by Federico Esposito for trainer Erik Bondo and owner Allev. Biasuzzi Srl, the improving filly won her second straight in 2014 and has six wins in ten career appearances. Purse was 45,100e as the winner secured the second classic of the season for the three year-old Italian females, after the GP Etruria in Florence.

Stankovic Ok led initially and then yielded to Suricato Jet, winner of Etruria. Stankovic Ok then regained the front before yielding in the stretch to Savannah Bi ( second in the nell'Allevatori Filly). Savannah won the first classic in her career. The team Bondo -Federico Esposito filly may be nearing the top of her class.

Savannah Bi has Royal Prestige twice in her pedigree, as French sire Ganymede is by the prolific late Buvetier d'Aunou (Royal Prestige-Nesmile) and second dam Personal Banner is a US stakes winning daughter of Royal Prestige from Delmary Hanover.

On a relatively quiet Sunday in France two interesting winners appeared at Agen le Passage. Legendary international horseman J-P Dubois won with his Bolero Love, a well-bred three year-old filly by Love You from Orelady-And Arifant in 1.15.4kr over 2050 meters autostart. It was her first career win for the Patrick Chevrier trainee. Later in the card Jean-Philippe Dubois won with his Unbridled Charm in 1.14.8kr, the sixth lifetime win for the son of Password-Intense Action-Cezio Josselyn. The dam has produced monte star Vision Intense that raced well this weekend to sulky in graded action at Vincennes.
