CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - Positioned perfectly off the harness racing gate, Screen Test converted a two-hole ride into a trip to the featured winner's circle Thursday evening at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park..

Corey MacPherson hustled the Stephen Gass trainee off the wings from post 3 and sat second behind race favourite Burn Out Hanover and driver Gilles Barrieau, through splits of 28.4, 57.1 and 1:26.2 then took his shot off the final turn to win in 1:55.1.

JJ Powerball (Marc Campbell) rallied for second with Burn Out Hanover finishing third in the $2,700 preferred class.

A four-year-old son of Vertical Horizon, Screen Test is owned by the Kickin Horse Stable of York and William Andrew of Calgary, Alta.

Campbell continued his driving dominance on the card with four winners on the midweek program. The Winslow driver hit the wire first with JNJ (1:58.3) for trainer Keith Ford of Charlottetown, Anzula (2:00.1) for Kenneth Wilkie of Stratford, Instant Shadow (1:56.1) for Sifroi Melanson of New Brunswick and with Buckaroo in a 2:00.1 score from his own stable.

Barrieau also has a driving triple on the card winning with HP Rubis Joyce (1:58.1) for Blaine Baglole of Cornwall, Scary Good (2:01.4) for trainer Randy Van Meer of Mount Herbert and with Imagine Speed (1:57.3) for owners Doug Matheson of Cornwall and Jessica Hawkins of Warren Grove.
