Secluded Island posted the most impressive harness racing mile of the evening on Thursday night at Saratoga Casino and Raceway.

The conditional pacer was dropping in class and coming off of an impressive 1:54.4 qualifier at Monticello in the evening's ninth race. Jim Devaux piloted Secluded Island (Island Fantasy) to the convincing victory as they went wire-to-wire, stopping the timer in an impressive 1:53.2.

The odds-on favorite in Thursday's $4,800 tilt, Secluded Island won for the second time of the season.

The nine year old pacer is owned and trained by Jack Sheehan of Oak Park, Il.

Live racing continues on Friday night at Saratoga with a first post time set for 7:05pm.
