New South Wales owned four year old Mister Swinger has this morning been withdrawn from the 'Courage Under Fire' $200,000 Chariots Of Fire.

Trainer Geoff Webster delivered the devastating news to ownerPeter Plummer, a Director of the NSW Harness Racing Club,after discovering his star pacer had a throat infection late lastnight (Tuesday).

With the $200,000 feature just two days away, Webster was leftwith no alternative but to scratch Mister Swinger.

"It is a major disappointment," Mr Plummer said."We acted swiftly in advising the Club so that the connectionsof Keayang Hanover would have every opportunity to contestthe Chariots."

His withdrawal from Australasia's pinnacle four-year-old eventpaves the way for first emergency Keayang Hanover, also fromVictoria, to gain a start in a bonus for Keayang Hanover, the Marg Lee-trained runnerwill begin the race from barrier two.
