Slick Tony conquers in the harness racing Conditioned Pace at Dover Downs on Thursday Night.
For Slick Tony, high winds and sub freezing temperatures did not deter him from winning his race.
Driver Corey Callahan, launched Slick Tony to the front from the start and set all race fractions. The opening quarter was reached in 27.3. The half was in 55.2.
At the five eighths junction, Somebaddude and Dexter Dunn went into attack mode but were only able to reach the wheel disc of Slick Tony.
They faced twenty mile per hour headwinds and reached the three quarters in 1:23.3.
In the stretch, Slick Tony, the even odds race favorite proved superior. He won by two and three quarter lengths, under wraps, in 1:50.3.

Q’s Cruise finished second for trainer Jim King Jr. and driver Tim Tetrick.
Late Mail N finished third for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. Montrell Teague was the driver.
