In a recent Blog, I wrote about the emerging technology of Smart Phones, outlining both the opportunity it represents and the challenges it faces in the handicapping market. I was also invited to speak at the TRA Simulcast conference in Florida last month to address this topic, and one major point I made was the lack of Apps dedicated to the horse racing fan base.

Well, even in the few short weeks since I gave my presentation, times have changed (thankfully for the better!). Major players like Equibase and Breeders' Cup have come along and announced new/upgraded mobile web sites and iPhone Apps aimed at helping the everyday player. And now, I am excited to announce the launch of our new TrackMaster mobile site.

From the ease and convenience of their Smart Phone, patrons can access our mobile site that has been redesigned and optimized to take advantage of the phone's technology and screen size. Currently available are selections and valuable reports for Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse and Harness racing, as well as a TrackMaster Odds Calculator App which is a simple tool to help you calculate payoffs of straight bets, doubles, triples, exacta, quinella and trifecta exotics.

It's still a work in process as we design more of our products and services in a mobile world, but we believe we're on the right track. Take a look and tell us what you think. Maybe you have an idea for something you'd like to see on your mobile phone. We're all ears.
