Solvato, a US registered five-year-old son of Donato Hanover-Solveig-Yankee Glide, stormed home for trainer Veijo Hesikanen to wins today's Gr. I Olympiatravet Final over 2140 meters autostart.

He earned the first prize of 1.5SEK million ($228,000 US) with this his eighth win in 34 lifetime starts, now with career earnings of 3,818,026SEK. Solvato was a 2013 import from the US that last raced there on May 12, 2013 for Trond Smedshammer. Denco HB owns the winner.

Sanity was a good second for Orjan Kihlstrom with Kash's Cantab rallying for third, handled by Erik Adielsson. The race time was a sharp 1.10.9kr. Noras Bean was a late scratch. Summary follows.

4th Yarrah Boko, Ulf Ohlsson; Harry Haythrow, Peter Untersteiner finished fourth and fifth ahead of Raja Morichi, Mr. Picolit, Brad de Veluwe and Ed You.

The 2014 V75-3 Olympiatravet final started off with breathtaking speed during the first lap. Raja Mirchi grabbed the lead position with a lap to go after been denied the front end early. Lutfi Kolgjini took back to fourth and then when the front settled he burst to the front ahead of early front-going Ed You. When getting to the last bend and into the home stretch Solvato surged past the tired leaders and secured an easy win.
