Somebeachsomewhere filly - She is the first foal from the well performed Betapic

The first southern hemisphere-bred foal by the North American harness racing pacing sensation Somebeachsomewhere has arrived! A filly, sporting a stunning white star on her forehead, was born on 26 September.

She is the first foal from the well performed Betapic, who won 14 races from 53 starts with a personal best mile of 1:56.2.

Betapic is a daughter of Bettors Delight and Picket Line, making her a half-sister to 2002 Australian Pacing Gold 2yo Final winner Black Line.

Pepper Tree Farm holds the exclusive Southern Hemisphere rights to Somebeachsomewhere who won 20 races from just 21 starts during his dazzling career.

The son of Mach Three claimed four World Records and was named USTA 2yo and 3yo Pacing Colt of the Year and 2008 Dan Patch Horse of the Year.

He accumulated $3,221,299 in stake earnings and boasts a sizzling PB of 1:46-4/5 (1.46.8).

There are 21 Australian mares and five New Zealand mares in foal to Somebeachsomewhere from last season.

That number is expected to more than double in 2010/11.
