Meadowlands Racetrack as two special dining options next weekend sure to please any foodie or wine lover.
On Friday, February 8 guests dining on the Pink Buffet will get a truly customizable buffet with endless soup & pasta!
The Endless Soup-n-Pasta Buffet is $29.95 and features classic pasta dishes such as tortellini panna, linguine with clam sauce, penne arrabiata with wild mushrooms and of course spaghetti with marinara sauce .
Guests can also enjoy the make your own soup station filled with various flavorful broths and all the soup fixings including fresh noodles, assorted vegetables, rice and beef. Then on Saturday, February 9 wine lovers will experience a tour of Italy at the 5-course wine dinner.
The food and wine pairing created by executive Chef Dennis Sammarone includes:
1st course: Assorted Italian Antipasti including eggplant, mozzarella, prosciutto, provolone & olives paired with Barbera D'Asti Superior
2nd course: Linguine Cozze E Vongole Scampi (pasta with mussels, shrimp & clams in a white wine sauce) paired with Theresa Eccher Carricante-Catarratto
3rd course: Classic Caesar Salad paired with Mosparone "Brina" Piemonte Sauvignon
4th course: Grilled Strip Steak with Tuscan fries & creamed spinach paired with Agricola Bellaria Irpinia Campi Taurisini
5th course: Italian Ricotta Cheese Cake & Belgium Mousse Cake with Campania Passito Fiano di Agricola Bellaria
